Pinky Tuskadaro
Well it was both a bad and great week. I finished Fridays tournament
at 41st. while the Little Man finished somewhere on the moon, which
means that next Saturday at the Kennel Club Mr. Pinky "I wish that I
could be as good as Halby" Tuskadaro Conti will be wearing a
specially made tutu with a special logo imprinted on the back. Joey,
Joey, Joey I cannot wait until Fridays show to present you with the
tutu. And let me just say Mr. Rick "I have to stick up for the Little
Man Conti because he gives me money" Fuller, sticking up for Pinky
instead of a fellow police officer is very offensive....More

Going from Pro Se to a Student of the Game
A favorite slogan of the legal profession is that anyone who attempts
to defend himself, pro se, in a court of law "has a fool for a
client." Much of this statement is due to the fact that the
individual does not have the training, education or expertise to know
how and when to act to sucessfully defend themself. They are too
emotionally involved to make sound decisions. Therefore they are

ALMOST #12
Since August 4, I have made the final table in 11 tournaments.
Yesterday it was almost #12 at the Summer Classic at the Kennel Club.
I have to say that I dont mind being beat by a clown, but not by a
rude clown. Ill discuss that in a minute. Ever since I have been on
the radio show, and have listened to the archives, I have to say that
it has helped my game tremendously. After speaking with Jerry Yang on
Friday and attending his seminar on Saturday, I used two of Jerrys
"tells" in yesterdays tournament and won two huge pots because of

Debauchery in the desert, a quick trip to Vegas...
Monday night I caught a shuttle down to SeaTac and boarded a flight
for Vegas. I was heading down to scout out some new locations for the
WPT Boot Camp, our Vegas camps are held at the MGM and the place just
sucks. I was pretty sure I could find us a better place and Ron
agreed so that became my new job. I landed, picked up my rental car,
and then headed to Brandon Cantus place to hang out. One of the
places I was going to look into was the Hard Rock Casino. They are
opening up a brand new poker room called the Poker Lounge and I had

A trip to Sturgis and an expensive motorcycle...
It has once again been forever since my last blog and the reason is
that I just havent felt like writing. I like to write when I have
good things to talk about and, after the World Series, I had nothing
good to talk about. It was a miserable time, I lost at every single
thing I did. Never had a winning session at even a single cash game,
didnt come close to cashing in a single tournament, and I played a
lot of them, never won at blackjack, or anything else. It was a
miserable time. I never even made the dinner break of any of the

It was quite a roll the last six tournaments, I made the final table
six times and cashed in each one. I sincerely believe that since I
have listened to PokerTalk America, my game has improved
tremendously. Because I work in Miami, I cant listen to the show all
the time. Listening to the pros in the Archieves is just a tremendous
benefit. If any of you out there really want to improve your game,
trust me, listen to the show or hear the pros from the Archieves. Of

Palm Beach on August 22nd and will join you at the Palm Beach Kennel
Club on August 23rd for that special poker seminar that everyone has

Where oh where to go next?
Now that the hoopla has simmered down from the main event (Woo-Hoo) I
am ready to pick the next tournament to attack. Looking at the
schedule there are 1 or 2 in the next 2 months that look interesting,
besides the Palm Beach Kennel Club Series. The first being the Gulf
Coast Poker Championships in Mississippi. $5000 Main event and some
nice smaller warm up events. The 2nd is the Borgata Open in September
with a $10k buy in and some nice $2500 and $5k events preceeding. So
Mojo...where do we yield our short stack talent next? Imagine what we
could do if we actually got some good cards this...More

Look Forward To Coming Down on August 23-24
Hey Everyone, Just wanted to update everyone that I will be at the
Palm Beach Kennel Club on August 23rd and 24th. On August 23rd, I
will be giving a poker seminar on tournament strategies and poker
tells. Ive been collecting some poker tells during the last two years
